Our Response to COVID-19

First and foremost, we want you to know that we value the health and safety of our customers and staff. As a business, Saunders Motors Company Limited is taking the extra steps necessary to maintain a healthy and sanitary workplace while still meeting our customers’ needs.

We continue to monitor information from provincial health authorities for their guidance and recommendations on how we can help to prevent the spread of this virus.

Our steps include:

  • Thorough cleanings of all dealership facilities daily
  • Sanitizing gel and foam stations available on-site
  • Providing our staff with specific instructions on hand washing and the importance of staying home if they are not feeling well
  • Adhering to the recommended six feet of social distance from other staff and customers

We will be adjusting schedules and operations for some of our staff to ensure that we stay well and can continue serving our customers efficiently. These schedule adjustments should have minimal impact on our in-store operations.

Our website is a helpful resource for shopping and researching vehicles, finding service and parts information, and communicating directly with the dealership. We will also continue to offer vehicle pick-up and delivery services.

    Covid-19 Update: 03/25/2022

    To Our Valued Customers,

    As restrictions lift across the province, and we begin to resume normal life with Covid-19, we wanted to reassure you that the health and safety of our customers, employees, and community remains our upmost priority. We will continue to follow the recommendations and guidelines made by Public Health. As we begin the much-anticipated Phase 3 of the Province of Nova Scotia's reopening plan, we wanted to update you on how we are operating.

    Our showroom is OPEN and we are operating at full capacity. Whether you're purchasing or having your vehicle serviced, our team of vehicle experts is here to help.

    What Does This Mean for Me?

    Do I need to wear a facemask inside the dealership?

    As of March 21, 2022, you are no longer required by Public Health to wear a facemask inside the dealership. Masks continue to be encouraged as an added layer of protection when in public, especially when social distancing is not possible.

    In order to better serve you, our team members will be asking your preference for them to wear or not wear a mask during your visit, and will comply with whichever one makes you more comfortable.

    Do I need to practice social distancing inside the dealership?

    As of March 21, 2022, you are no longer required by Public Health to maintain social distancing at the dealership. Social distancing continues to be encouraged when in public, or when surrounded by people that are not part of your close social group.

    Can I still complete my vehicle purchase virtually/online?

    Of course! Our Sales Team is here to guide you through the entire process and answer any questions you may have.

    What safety measures are still in place around the dealership?

    • Hand-sanitization stations and disposable facemasks are located next to all entrances/exits for your convenience.
    • Clear, plastic dividers will continue to be utilized by employees who come into contact with a large number of people throughout the day.
    • High-touch surfaces around the dealership are routinely sanitized.
